Try to set yourself apart from the competition.Highlight your part-time jobs & internships in your Professional Experience.
Keep your format very simple .Avoid using too many technical jargon and abbreviations.
Highlight your Academic awards & recognitions if any. Also, include the courses or training you underwent that are relevant to the job that may add more weightage to your resume
The resume format should not be hard to read.It should be in a simple format. My suggestion is you can show the dates of your work Experience at right end of the resume,so it will be easy for the Recruiter to review them
It is not required to mention the products you worked on unless they are major industry standard products that is well known or something the employer asked for.
Make your resume specific to your job posting and provide a crisp summary ,so based on the summary the employer should feel that you are fitting the role before reading the full resume.
Do not duplicate or repeat your job responsibilities of similar role, though you have done similar task/Accomplishments in the past companies. If you have done similar task of "report generation for management" in all jobs ,highlights as part of your skill summary
Incorporate many keyword related to your domain/job.Employers mainly search for key words before reading the full resume to find the if the profile best suits the job.
Identify accomplishments during your project stint. If you have implemented any process improvement methods, improved productivity or reduced costs, you can add them .
The font size should be not smaller than 10 point, Avoid using stylish fonts. Make sure your resume file size isn't too large to send to recruiters and to upload in job sites.
Make sure that your objective is not too narrow like "To obtain a" ,try to convey to the employer what you can offer to him rather than in asking mode like "To obtain a positiion'
Try to add your skills explicitly in objective which is relavant to the job.Hope this helps.
